Bingo.com enter Malta

In a recent press release we have heard that Bingo.com has finally received a long awaited LOI from the Lottery and Gaming Authorities in Malta. This means that Bingo.com will be given the go-ahead to start promoting its online bingo products throughout Europe.

Bingo.com started online bingo operations in the very early days of this genre of gaming, 1999 to be precise, and is thus considered to be one of the Grandaddy’s of online bingo sites. They were a pioneer you might say! They have paid out and estimated amount of ₤40 000 000 worth of cash prizes to members during their years of operation and presently have a membership of around 1.8 million.

Bingo.com was one of the many online bingo sites who had to cease offering services to the US market when the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was promulgated in late 2006, and they have been awaiting permission to offer online bingo services to the European market for some time now. The Letter of Intent is the last step in a long process of red-tape which will allow Bingo.com this access.

Business for Bingo.com is presently booming in the UK, and the UK market has been critical to their success. However being able to expand their business into Europe will only strengthen their position in the online bingo market, and a spokesperson said that they are delighted to be able to finally do this.

If you are interested in becoming a member of Bingo.com, they offer new players ₤5 free bingo bonus, plus a 200% first deposit bonus, if you build a profile, they will also give you an additional 5% bonus, so I suggest you do this, as every little bit of free money counts, and it is always more fun playing with someone else’s money!
