Funnily enough, the US television channel ABC also launched a bingo TV game last year, but it failed to measure up to any successful standards and was canned. It does not appear that this is going to be the case for the Bingo Night Live programme in the UK.
It has several things going for it, the main one being that it is a free game of bingo, where cash prizes can be won. The others include that it is played daily from Tuesday to Saturday, even if the programme is scheduled for midnight to one, this does not seem to have diminished the programme’s popularity.
ITV Bingo Night Live is televised in real time, when they say “Live” they mean it, the presenters have to do their thing live, on a stunningly designed studio set piece known as “Bingo Central” in Granada TV’s studios based in Manchester. People have been clamouring to join up on the website and ITV have got the cat in the bag, because all registrations for the programme are able to be used as feeders for their ITV online bingo site.

According to the outcome of the Third Online Bingo Summit recently held in London, combining a television show with an online bingo site is the thing of the future. So ITV have definitely got the proverbial ducks in a row on this, as they had this TV show up and running before the commencement of the summit.
