Experts are now reporting that mobile bingo will soon boom. It will help the bingo industry among other gambling services move forward. With the rise of Blackberry phones and iPhones, there is no doubt that mobile gambling will be a hit in the near future. Over the coming years, they are expecting mobile gambling, especially mobile bingo to be a big hit!

Experts at the InterGaming magazine have reported that the only thing that is keeping mobile gambling such as the game of bingo, to fully take off is the lack of hardware. Yes, we already have the PDA phones out in the market. Palm, Blackberry, HP phones, smart phones, and the iPhones are just among the few brands that offer the technology. However, they are still among the priciest phones out in the market today. Not all people can still afford the phone not to mention the hefty monthly fees.

But as soon as this technology becomes imminent, we are hoping for lower fees and lower prices for such hardware. Once people such as the mass market are able to afford such fees and costs, mobile gaming and bingo in general won’t have a hard time to take off. However, the editor-in-chief of the magazine, Phil Clegg also states that a more sophisticated way of doing financial transactions in mobile gaming must also be considered. He said that it needed catching up. Needless to say, he predicts that mobile bingo will take off in the next five years. Hardware is already catching up and it’s all up to the people and players to adjust.

On the other hand, according to Juniper research, one country is already ready to take on mobile gaming. That is of course none other than the UK. The research firm has said that currently, the largest market for mobile gaming all over the globe is UK. 52 percent of all wagers are from the UK while the total gross wagers worldwide in 2007 reached close to a billion US dollars.
