Mrs Obama Game Raises ₤100,000 for Charity at Gala Bingo

Gala Bingo recently set up a special bingo game in honour of the inauguration of Barack Obama. This game was done with the permission and support of Mrs. Kezia Obama, the step mother of the new US president. Gala Bingo has been involved in a charity fund raising effort for Sue Ryder Care and this particular game managed to raise ₤100 000. Well done Gala Bingo!

Mrs. Kexzia Obama is bingo mad; she loves the game and plays at her local bingo club in Buckinghamshire every evening. The special games ran from the 14th to the 23rd January and from the amount raised we can see it was an astounding success.

Gala Bingo hopes to raise as much as ₤1 million for the Sue Ryder Care charity at the end of an 18 month campaign and it looks like they are well set to meet this goal. Mrs. Obama said that she couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate her step son’s inauguration. Unfortunately she was in the US at the time the games played, as she had to be present for Barak Obama’s inauguration on the 20th January 2009.

Gala Bingo is one of the big brand names, they are the biggest operator of land based bingo in the UK and the online bingo site gives away over ₤15 million worth of prizes every week. So these guys really are the big guns. They give new members who sign up and register with their credit card details, ₤20 worth of free money when they make a deposit and play through at least ₤5. And any player who wants to support the Sue Ryder Care charity is welcome to play at the site. The Gala Bingo site also provides a link to the charity for anyone wanting to make donations.
