The Mecca Bingo Group sponsors Wigan Warriors

As we all know, one of the popular sports in the UK is Rugby. On the other hand, one of the popular online and offline games or gambling games being played all over the country is bingo. Recently, the Rugby League giants called the Wigan Warriors have come to terms with the bingo chain, Mecca Bingo. They have agreed upon a 1 year sponsorship deal. Wigan Warriors have held the championship title for 18 times. Now, they are being sponsored by Mecca Bingo for one year, and probably looking at an extension in the future.

The infamous white and cherry kit of the Wigan Warriors will bear the logo of Mecca Bingo both on the front and back. It will be there for the whole season of Super League this 2009. Recently, the Wigan Warriors have agreed with Totesport on a sponsorship deal. The logo of Totesport however will be worn on the shorts of the rugby players both at the sleeves and rear. Now, the Wigan Warriors are adding a new logo to their kit, and that is the logo of Mecca Bingo, the online bigno site with a difference.

According to a research group called the Centre for Cities, Wigan was among the most affected towns of the recession in the country. Thus, it has greatly helped them when Mecca Bingo sponsored the team. In fact, the deal with Mecca Bingo was announced after the research group has stated that Wigan was among the most affected by the recession due to unemployment or lack of qualifications. Nevertheless, more cash is being invested to improve Wigan. Thanks to Mecca Bingo, it can improve a lot in the coming years. Who knows when and where Mecca Bingo expands next.
