The MS Society Receives Donation From Online Bingo Site

Over recent months the online bingo site, Crown Bingo have been very active in their fund raising activities. The regularly host these and have raised fund for various charitable causes. This month the site raised funds for the MS Society, this is the charitable concern taking care of people in the UK suffering from Multiple Sclerosis.

The MS Society is reliant on charitable donations to fund vital research into this debilitating illness. It is believe that as many as 85 000 people in the UK suffer from Multiple Sclerosis, so this is indeed a worthy cause. MS is a disabling neurological condition that affects young adults. The society is in grave need of donations from business and Crown Bingo has once again come to the fore. Their charity night was held on the 12th August and they came close to raising ₤1 500. This was made up of a 50% match of the prize pot for games played between 7 and 9pm.

In July the girls from Crown Bingo took part in a race for life and roomies from Crown bingo managed to raise ₤212 to donate to Cancer research. The online bingo site has seen a fantastic response to their call to aid charitable organisations, but this is not surprising really, as playing bingo has a long history of helping other in need. The online bingo site commented that it was quite amazing to see how many charities have touched the lives of their online bingo players. Charitable organisations play a huge role in supporting vulnerable people, making donations and stride in research, as well as disease prevention in the UK, and it is really heart warming to see that sites such as Crown Bingo are pulling their weight in aiding these needy organisations.
